I am going to have to disagree with your Apatow film rankings. I have Funny People at number one, then Knocked Up, then the 40 Year Old Virgin. I do feel that Funny people was a little too long, but nothing to complain about. I loved every second of the movie as I feel it properly combined comedy with hints of drama. Another great part of the movie which you forgot to mention was Simmons' relationship with his doctor. I found every reference that both Simmons and Wright made about the doctor funnier than the next. Also, Jonah Hills performance in this movie was the best that I have seen. I know that others will say his work in Super Bad was better, but I thought he was just great in this movie. I look forward to more Judd Apatow classics in the future.
